Analysis

First, we analyze where your company or institution currently stands. What defines your brand today? What makes your market tick? What do your target groups need?
We also clarify the budget, time frame and what should definitely be retained from the previous appearance.

Strategy

On this basis, we define the challenges and develop clear objectives – both in terms of content and strategy. This results in an individual brand strategy and positioning. Whether it will be a small update or a complete new start – an evolution or a revolution – is usually determined at this point.

Concept

We develop an individual cross-media concept that communicates your brand coherently across all channels and makes it recognizable.

Draft

In this phase, a corporate design is created that really suits your company, your institution – unmistakably and with a view to all the requirements and possibilities of the various media.

Is now the right time for a rebranding?

The reasons and timing for a rebranding can be very diverse. From repositioning to mergers to growing pains, there are varying degrees of time pressure on the need for action. A rebrand can be a key strategic driver for the future success and long-term health of a company and brand. Let's figure out the right time in a conversation together.

What does a rebranding cost?

Early-stage start-ups require less extensive design systems than established international companies. A briefing is therefore necessary to estimate the costs of a rebranding, corporate design or brand.

Is the investment worthwhile?

A rebranding and the creation of a design system will ensure significant savings in financial means and resources in the future.

How involved am I in the process?

A successful project is the result of intensive collaboration between client and agency. In our individual process, we hold regular workshops and shoulder meetings after a kick-off: Every two weeks at the beginning and weekly as the project progresses.

Do I start from scratch in terms of design?

In an evolution in branding, we develop the existing visual appearance further in terms of content, design and technology for the purpose of recognition. In a revolution, a new look is deliberately designed and communicated to stakeholders.

I'm not in the Cologne area. Is long-distance collaboration still possible?

Using a specially developed hybrid process, we have already carried out successful projects with several participants in different countries. We use a specially structured online whiteboard as the only source of truth. This is shared across the entire team, including the customer, and is available from anywhere at any time. It is a place for collaboration and documents the process at the same time. We are happy to show examples of this.

Am I dependent on you or am I capable of acting on my own?

Based on an online design system, we enable customers to act themselves and collaborate with internal design departments. With us, print corporate design manuals and PDFs are a thing of the past.

How long does it take from start to finish?

Depending on the complexity and scope of the project, the usual period ranges from 2 to 6 months.

Does it have to be the big picture or can I also implement a medium with you?

Our strength lies in consistent visual appearances across all media and touchpoints of the customer journey. However, we also work on individual media in the existing corporate design or brand identity. These are often websites or print publications.

Do you use AI for the designs?

AI – artificial intelligence – is our daily sparring partner with MI – human intelligence. It does not primarily do our work for us or make us superfluous, but helps us – as another tool in the process – to achieve even better and more individual results for our customers.

Which customers and sectors are you targeting?

We do not have an explicit industry focus. We particularly enjoy working with owner-managed companies that value individual and high-quality design.
